- IN-KIND PROGRAM includes contributions of discounted
and free services by individuals and businesses to offset general
operating expenses such as printing, mailing, marketing, office
supplies, and dance costumes. Discuss the tax advantages of offering

- VOLUNTEER PROGRAM offers individuals with the
opportunity to contribute of their time and resources for services

WHY GIVE
FREDDICK BRATCHER AND COMPANY
is seeking support from individual and corporate donors
to help fund the production of year round performances in South
Florida.
Your financial support is needed for the Company to continue to
attract talented dancers and to present world-class dance to the
community.
Your support will also help the Company achieve its long-term goals:
- maintain a group of full-time, on-staff professional dancers
twelve months a year
- establish full-time residency in South Florida for performing,
developing new dances, and teaching
- tour nationally and internationally
- further expand the Company’s involvement with educational
programs in inner-city communities
When you give to Freddick Bratcher and Company,
your generous contributions help fund the various programs and activities
that allow us to continue bringing quality dance to audiences throughout
South Florida, including:
CHOREOGRAPHY provides special support for the
creation and presentation of new works to the Freddick Bratcher
and Company repertory by both Artistic Director, Freddick Bratcher,
and other guest choreographers, as well as support for the restaging
of repertory works. A Storydance Project, as part of the Community Outreach, enables Emerging Artists with a vehicle to create new works and collaborate with the dancers.
COMMUNITY
OUTREACH provides vital support for various projects
that reach out to underserved communities and disadvantaged children
and families through performances and programs that are easily-accessible and affordable, including:
Dance Education Component supports the Freddick Bratcher
and Company mission to uphold the traditions of Modern and Contemporary
American dance and to pass on this rich heritage to future dance
professionals. Programs include lecture-demonstrations, workshops,
master classes, and performances in public and private schools. The Contemporary Dance Program, part of the Dance Education Component, currently operates three year-round after school programs in collaboration with South Miami Community Center, Learning Bridge Miami at Corpus Christi Catholic School and Liberty City Charter School, and Summerbridge Miami Saturday and Summer programs. These programs target underprivileged children and is designed to instill a lifelong
appreciation of the arts through workshops, classes, and performance
opportunities.
Neighborhood Dance Project
provides free and low cost performances in underserved communities
at public libraries, parks, festivals, cultural arts centers,
and theaters. As part of the Neighborhood Dance Project, the Company initiated A Storydance Project designed to bring the art of contemporary dance through the retelling of multi-cultural stories through dance, music and narration and mainly targets children ages four to fourteen.
Artist Residency
offers inner-city and disadvantaged youth with master classes
and choreography opportunities through extended residencies
by Company members.
GENERAL OPERATIONS supports all of the essential
programs and activities of Freddick Bratcher and Company, including
performances, collaborations, and the highly acclaimed Season
Concert Series.

Freddick Bratcher and Company is a Not-For-Profit
Florida Corporation with a federal tax-exempt status of 501(c)(3)
of the Internal Revenue Code. All contributions are fully deductible
within the limitations of the law.
