FREDDICK BRATCHER AND COMPANY is seeking support from individual and corporate donors to help fund the production of year round performances in our new home of St. Augustine, Florida. Your financial support is needed for the Company to attract talented dancers and to present world-class dance to the community.

Your support will also help the Company achieve its long-term goals:

  1. maintain a group of full-time, on-staff professional dancers twelve months a year
  2. establish full-time residency for performing, developing new dances, and teaching
  3. tour nationally and internationally
  4. further expand the Company’s involvement with dance education programs for minority and low-income communities

When you give to Freddick Bratcher and Company, your generous contributions help fund the various programs and activities that allow us to continue bringing quality dance to audiences throughout Florida, including:

  • CHOREOGRAPHY provides special support for the creation and presentation of new works to the Freddick Bratcher and Company repertory by both Artistic Director, Freddick Bratcher, and other guest choreographers, as well as support for the restaging of repertory works. • COMMUNITY OUTREACH provides vital support for various projects that reach out to underserved communities and disadvantaged children and families through performances and programs that are easily-accessible and affordable, including:

  •      Dance Education Component supports the Freddick Bratcher and Company mission to uphold the traditions of Modern and Contemporary American dance and to pass on this rich heritage to future dance professionals. Programs include lecture-demonstrations, workshops, master classes, and performances in public and private schools. These programs target underprivileged children and are designed to instill a lifelong appreciation of the arts through workshops, classes, and performance opportunities.

Neighborhood Dance Project provides free and low cost performances in underserved communities at public libraries, parks, festivals, cultural arts centers, and theaters. As part of the Neighborhood Dance Project, the Company initiated A Storydance Project designed to bring the art of contemporary dance through the retelling of multi-cultural stories through dance, music and narration and mainly targets children ages four to fourteen.

Artist Residency offers inner-city and disadvantaged youth with master classes and choreography opportunities through extended residencies by Company members.
